yep

Does that effect getting to know someone who actually may become a girlfriend, rather than a friend?

I do not think being friends with the opposite
sex comes naturally, too many hormones.
But it can come about anyway, often.
When the brain becomes more prominent
than the glands.

I didn't say they couldn't be.

I think it depends on the person whether it comes naturally or not. Some people tend to get along better with the opposite sex, even when they're not romantically involved.

if both find each other undesirably disgusting ..perhaps they can

if the guy is gay and the woman is a lesbian ....there may be a slight chance

other than that no

you will be friends thinking about benefits

I guess that's your way of saying unattractive? I don't find any of my friends to be disgusting.

I truly believe that there are different kinds of guys and personally never related to guys who can only think with their ding dong.

There are too many cool relationships to have in life and I have always enjoyed the whole realm. I have never fit into the "women are a piece of meat" club.
