I guess that's your way of saying unattractive? I don't find any of my friends to be disgusting.

people will sometime have sex with those that they may find unattractive " the one beer to many syndrome",

but perhaps not with those that they find undesirably disgusting

Yes my best friend is a guy. He's not gay,he's not ugly. He is one of the most decent people I've ever known. our relationship is strictly platonic. I've also got several other platonic male friends. . . I grew up with 2 brothers and no sisters so I just seem to get along better with guys.

Just friends as opposed to romantically involved.

I have friends I've never been romantically involved with. Even if they might be attracted-they know me so well to know that it would never work. We value the friendship more than that. Boyfriends can come and go. Friends are there for the long haul.

I work with mainly guys and had three younger brothers so it's what I'm used to and comfortable with. So, yes it IS possible.

I'm a billionaire playboy who just cannot settle on one woman. So I keep a few close as "friends".

Men and women can't be friends.

Uhuh. I said it. They can never properly be friends.

I do not think being friends with the opposite
sex comes naturally, too many hormones.
But it can come about anyway, often.
When the brain becomes more prominent
than the glands.

Very true. I just don't agree with the "often" part.

How does someone properly be friends? And why can't men and women do so?

Do you think men and women can just be friends?

Of course, I have several female friends that are just that, friends.
