What do you look for or like in friends?
My friends are strong people (even strong enough to reach out for help at times), They are there for me to vent or a shoulder to cry on. They will give me a swift kick in the butt when needed. And we can have lots of laughs. |

'what are friends for?' a lot of the time friends take up the slack from my family. family can let you down when you need to talk about problems. friends are your friends because they are reliable. |

always available to babysit
always available on moving day always willing to lend money even though they will never see it again..lol. . always willing to follow you off the cliff into a lake. . always willing to come give you a boost if your battery died. .. don't really mind if you date there sister but they would prefer you didn't...lol.. .. always willing to take the blame . after you pass some gas, right as a pretty woman is walking up to you.. .. and the biggest one of all is.. they don't care if everybody else thinks you're an idiot..lol... because they know you're an idiot but they're okay with that...  . . |

I can count my real friends on one hand. They are for...talking to, trusting, company, laughs,desperate times, fun times, sad times ect. I have one friend who I have known since I was about 5. We are best friends. Though we have grown apart over time , we will always be best friends.
For instance... I seen this little poem on an internet picture about two weeks ago that reminded me so much of her. I downloaded to my phone, got really busy & forgot I had it. 2 days ago I came across it & sent it to her. She text me back thanking me because I cheered her up some as she has been really down because of losing a family member .....about 2 weeks ago. I did'nt even know what was going on in her life but a picture poem brought her to my mind the very day her aunt passed on. |

A friend will say 'I'll be there when you need me' a true friend doesn't have to say it.
|

I look for ppl that resonate with me, basically meaning they're active in the alternative like me or have a serious interest in it.
Other ppl tend to wear me out energetically, meaning I will have to shield myself when being around them. Not a problem for a bit, but not for too long, as shielding does cost energy. And I prefer to be able to simply "be" with my friends. Same with a potential partner. I'm an HSP (High Sensitive Person) which is why I don't mind being on my own a lot. Also nice if a friend is single as well, cos apart from spiritual, psychological and quantum physics kind of stuff I talk mostly about sex & men & sex, lol. And the latter ain't always easy or possible with a friend who's in relationship. Not the same way. |

A friend is one you can count on to tell you the truth. In a way that they are not putting you down, but trying to help lift you up...
And they know even if you choose to do it a different way they will still be there for you... They are your friend cause they want to be not because they need something.... One you can talk too, and not worry they will use what you say against you...  |
