To get a ring from a guy, means he was thinking about me, when he bought it. So I'd find it really sweet. But I'm not expecting any ring.

It's not a big deal to me :) It's up to him whether he gets me a ring. I will still want him either way. A ring is merely a symbol of appreciation. It's the actual relationship that I care about more than any piece of jewellery.
