There's a tiny part of me that agrees with the OP about there being more important things in life to argue over. However, to me, if it's something small and unimportant to me, yet important to the person I claim to care about, it automatically becomes important to me. I might think my SO wrote a stupid poem or made a crappy piece of art, but I'd be willing to read it or look at it, just to show I care, and I'd expect the same from him.

I believe actions speak louder than words; it's very easy to tell someone you love them, but when you're willing to do something just to make them happy- whether it's "stupid" or "insignificant" or whatever, that shows your love. I'd rather be shown love than told I'm loved, words fall flat, to me anyway....

I think when you reach a point where it's all about what makes you happy, you shouldn't try to be in a relationship, because it's no longer just about you, you're not considered "single" anymore, you're part of a "couple" you mesh together, what one wants the other should, too, or they should at least be willing to compromise and meet in the middle. I see nothing wrong with being selfish, I'm selfish myself, however, if I really wanted to be with someone and cared about their feelings, I'd be willing to put my selfishness aside. Again, that's just me. *shrugs*

Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm shshshsh what does it matter if ya throw your socks on the floor or she hangs her undies in her shower or he hangs his on the door knob gesssssssssssssssssh ya'll are all trying to convince a guy that he is wrong for what he likes.

When he has already told ya'll all how many times that he does not see just one woman anyway but several and he prefers young ones over the older ones!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What dose it matter looks like to me he just saves the older women a lot of headache by bypassing them........whoa

I mean hell if they are one night stands or just basically a booty call anyway why the hell would anyone try to impress the one they are with for the night. Specially knowing tomorrow there most likely will be another one to look at in their place shshhsshshslaphead

You have missed the point. Monday is my girlfriend's birthday. I've planned out her whole day and paid for everything. I NEVER SAID DON'T DO NICE THINGS THAT SHOW YOU CARE.

I'm asking about the crap women say they have to put up with from men. I don't feel that me not having the power to change the fact that I'm ADD is selfish and anyone that does needs to learn more about the condition.

If I'm in a relationship or not I am still the person I am. She must love me warts and all or leave me. This is the way I love her and I except the same in return.

Firstly, needing drama can be a trait of both sexes, thats down to the individual, secondly, i dont recall ever complaining about 'crap' i have to put up with from men,(I dont generalise men) as that would be my fault for putting up with it, besides, all the men i have been in relationships with, were completely diff.
Each relationship is different, and ppl need to adjust, grow and develop within it.

To ask a question of a sex on such a general level, will never find ur answers, life and ppl are too specific. Its not just women who complain, ive witnessed many men speak of women in a stereotypical way, complaining about them, it seems to fuel the boys chats

Men an women can both be guilty of generalising and steroetyping. Its about individuals, not sexes.

Imo, if someone is publically complaining about either of the sexes, it is a sure indication that person is in a place emotionally that they havent moved on from, in regards to a loved one.

I do have a girlfriend, but we are not exclusive.

I didn't start this thread to get a fight going. I wanted to know what the crap is so many women talk about. In this very thread one woman said (I am paraphrasing) "The only reason you want to date 20 somethings is because they'll put up with your BS." What BS is she talking about? I still don't think I've gotten a clear answer. So, I am left to my own resources to come up with an answer that seems likely.

Also reading threads like this I really do learn a lot. But, it's seldom about the question I've asked.

Perhaps TS there are no answers to the questions you ask b/c you ask questions that could have a different answer for each person.. I think someone pretty much said that.. If you don't accept the answers given then of course your questions will never be answered..

NOT all women say they're tired of men's BS and not all men give BS (crap whichever)... NOT all women do either.. Sort of like your lumping middle aged women together OR saying 32 is middle aged...

I can go on and on but HOPEFULLY you get the point.. IF not then I'm thinking you don't really want answers b/c I'm really not saying anything different than you've been told a million times on this site and I'm sure tons of other places...

TS....isn't crap subjective? One man's trash is another man's treasure type of thing? What I find crap may not be crap to others.ohwell

You know, I have never complained about the way any woman behaved in any relationship I've been sense high school. I accept them unconditionally as they are.

http://mingle2.com/topic/show/268535

what's that you said about not complaining? laugh

You are taking me out of context. I have NEVER COMPLAINED TO A WOMAN I'M IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH ABOUT THE WAY SHE BEHAVES. I do however complain that women (in general) complain so much.

I love sterotyping conversations...lol
for me , personally, the men I have chosen (and I'm saying me)have been eye wanderers and quite immature, hardly ever wanting to confront problems in the relationship...instead trying to run away from communicating. That's the BS I put up with for years!! Also, if they didn't get the attention (sex usually) they wanted, they felt justified in seeking it elsewhere. However, if I ever did that, I'd be labeled a whore! ALL men aren't bad...but neither are ALL women over 20 years of age nags and *******.
If someone in their 20's is what you want...I;m sure you two would have alot in common...just sayin'...smokin

Alright, so I'm asking the ones that do say they're tired of men's crap what crap they're talking about. How's that?

I've seen a number of women posting about the "crap" or "bullsh!t" they have to put up with from men, but I've never understood what it is. I'm curious to learn if it's something that's simply the nature of men, like not even seeing a mess, or if it's something else.

So please ladies, explain to me exactly what this BS is you have to put up with from so many men.
only single or divorced women say these things, cause they are perfect in their minds

It sounds to me like you are complaining about men's natural behavior, our evolutionary programming to have sex with as many women as we can. If this is the case it's natural for you to resent it as that's your evolutionary programming.

Just saying what? That I must be a hell of an interesting man to attract a beautiful, young woman that men everywhere, both young and old, are trying to get with? Thank you!
