Some people only post: NO ANSWER in "physical appearance and lifestyle"; in interest ..."i will tell you later"; profile description .."Hi" and NO PHOTO!!(ask for it). I think is too excessive privacy. How can we have an idea of those persons?

Do you think the site must regulate that? What do you think?

Most here just not having proper approach.

I am often asked questions that are in my profile.

I guess when one doesn't complete their profile why check mine before asking questions. Waste of time as most all of Internet.

Good luck

No the site shouldn't. Members should be able to post as much (within site rules) or as little as they want. Not everyone is here to date. Members without info won't have as much luck, but that is their choice

Those are all default replies..meaning the member
put nothing in that slot.

Exactly! We all have choices, if you don't like what's in their profile, or not in it, you have the choice to move on. Or you can ask for more info if you want to know more.

i all ways left mine blank till i tried the sight for a couple days
a lot of these sights are dead , so why waist the time filling stuff out (you could tell they where dead by looking at post dates)

and to what end ? i have been on sights where they made you put something and i would put ababasbabasbabasbsabsabs hit enter and off to the next to do the same lol till i found out if the sight was worth me paying attention to it

but keep in mind a blank profile is a first hint of what is to come

I would have to agree with that evaluation. I often completely skip those with incomplete profiles. If someone doesn't invest the time in a bit of self revelation for a potential (whatever it is they are here for" is very revealing as to what the are really after. turn off for sure

Why care? Just bypass it

It doesn't matter to most any way. I have no answers and very clear in the blurb. Think that stops people?

This all just reaffirm this 54 yr old guy dodging lots of undesirables has come to end after about 2 yrs active.

I'm too busy to chase imaginary rainbows.

Off to the bar for drink.

Adios.

According to the writers of "Must Love Dogs", "athletic" is code for flat chested and "a few pounds" is code for obese.

If that's true for even some of us, the description wouldn't really help anyway.

Besides, the menu of options provided are vague. If you choose you don't want kids, could tell someone you hate kids, or simply that you love them, but are done raising them at this point.

You can't tell how people might take the answers you do provide.

True but not all are here to date. This is a dating and social site.

Members shouldn't have to provide answers. I make it clear in my profile and still get people asking me

Just bypass them. This site should never force people to answer

I don't think the site should force people either.

I changed my mind about dating here, at least for now...no offense to the nice people on the forums...and am also still getting asked to meet. I don't think most read profiles anyway.

Nice to know I'm not alone, Yellowrose. flowerforyou

How can we have an idea of those persons?

Try to send them a message and start a conversation?

Do you think the site must regulate that?

"Must?" No.
Even if they provide information there's no way to prove it's actually true.

What do you think?

It's up to you to get what you pay for?

if they want to do their own topic... they have to have a picture ...
whether them or not ...that is a must ...
but when you post in the topic of another ...
you don't have to have a pic ...

I don't care one way or another ... it is their choice ...
to read your profile or not ... and if they have none ...
an you like them... message them ...
sometimes their acct has been deleted by that time anyway... laugh
