My boyfriend and I of three years just split tonight over the dumbest mess ever! Trivial things...Why is it that even when men know they're wrong and see their woman hurting they still have to be mean...Even when their ways are of error????

Trivial things may seem to be the cause of a break up. But normally, men and women break up during a trivial event because they were holding things inside. It takes a small, trivial event to bring it all out. Just my view though. Sorry for your break up though. flowerforyou

Ahhh, sorry to hear about that. In most cases there is more to it then just the trivial things. The more people that I talk with, the more I find out. And it's takes time for anyone to realize that they may be wrong about something. Even I have those moments at times, not offten, but at times.. lol.

Goof is right. Over time, the small seemingly unimportant things have a way of building up until one day, you just can't take anymore and it all comes out.

A few things come to mind; the main thing I'd like to point out is the "beating around the bush" theory. Although I'd prefer to be "pushed in the bush," breaking up over something as trivial as you claim is a blessing in disguise.

Just remember, opinions are subjective, your life isn't.

Men don't 'always put the blame on women.' Individuals, however, often do.

because most of them are the guilty ones

my ex hubby before we had even got married would cheat on me
and there was one time we had been down down
and there was this old man that lived down town and when i would see him i would say hi. he was old and of course i was being friendly. and there was one day i was downtown with my ex hubby (this was way before we got married) and he wanted me to take the following bus home, i decided to wait for i saw that old man so i went to say hi to him and to see how he was doing... my ex hubby(bf at the time0 noticed i was still waiting for the bus and he right out and accused me of sleeping with that old man..... OMG!!

Not sure it's a man or woman thing - just a some people thing. In my experience, a lot of people make one fundamental mistake - this being to presume that 'because I think or would act this way - then so would everyone else'. Hence - an individual who would (cheat) if an opportunity presents itself - will automatically presume that so would you. My first wife was insanely jealous and 'clingy' - yet it was she who cheated on me.

That's life - learn and move on.

It used to be easier to put the blame on others. It got harder to do though after I went through treatment. They introduced me to this new concept called 'honesty'. The more I became dried out the better the programming worked. Life has been so much easier to live since I went through the reprogramming.

All women at one time or another has been mischievous to their other sex and men too; as they get a small taste back to them and they cry like they are the sweet victim with all honesty … LOL… Men are like dogs, but dogs are simple, protective, love, domestic animals. Women are like cats, wild, selfish, silently devious, purring when they need to, scratching the next minute, taking their beauty sleep wherever. Enjoy the humor within…

If she and he are open, respectful, laugh and work it together; the silly things can be over viewed. Be as an equal to one another…

More than likely it's the same reason women put the blame on men.

ew this is easy, most people of both genders refuse to accept they actually maybe the problem...and when you have 2 people together that think that way well then, they clash

DivineStrength24, they will see the error of their ways when you see the error of yours.

You come here pretending that you are nothing but an innocent victim, and yet you give us no reason to believe that your boyfriend was the one in error.

You have to prove that your boyfriend is the guilty party.
